Accomplishment of new cement standard raises the requirements of cement quality, especially when the new dry type cement production line becomes the development mainstream of cement industry, grinding technology gets more attention. This phenomenon stimulates the cement grinding technology to advance with the times. And how does cement plant operate the technical reform on cement grinding technology?
1. Selection of open or closed circuit grinding process
Cement grinding process can conclude open and closed circuit types, and both are actually selection of particle size distribution and cement strength. For closed type grinding process, product fineness and product temperature can be controlled which avoid excessive dehydration of gypsum, and this type is suitable for producing multi-item cement which has strong adaptability to material moisture. As experiences show that, if the diameter of grinding mill is less than 3.2m, open type or closed type grinding process are workable; if the diameter is more than or equal to 3.4m, open type process is proper.
2. Closed system reform of big-size ball mill
After size enlargement of ball mill, general closed production process with high-efficiency powder concentrator will cause dust accumulation in actual application which will increase the damages of shell and leaves. The solution is to adopt the new process which separates ventilation and dust collector system and powder concentrating system, and meanwhile to add up high efficient static separator to the milling tail.
3. Medium or long milling equipment suitable for closed circuit or not
After accomplishment of new cement standard, due to the higher requirements of cement quality, medium or long grinder with slenderness ratio of 3-4m or above 4m is also suitable for closed circuit grinding process. Material staying longer in the grinder machine benefits increasing quantity of fine powder and promotion of cement quality. It's key to arrange accurate adjustment in the grinder machine.
