In recent years, most of the mining machines made in China have been sold in the domestic market. In the past years, the sales of the mining equipment take up 95% of the total amount with the export of only 4.16%. In modern times, the export and import trend of the mining machines are expanding and in a few years Chinese total export amount will remain as much as 0.7 billion dollars or more. The import and export deficit of the mining equipment will shrink obviously.

Since 1980s, the Chinese mining manufacturing enterprises have kept introducing the foreign advanced technology continuously and have made cooperation with the foreign businessmen through different modes. We know better about the foreign technology and make much progress on the technological basis. Since we have the proprietary intellectual property rights for the mining equipment, we can compete with many developed countries with advanced technology in the international market and can also win most of the market share. The Chinese government also makes up related policy to promote the development of the export and import of mining machines.

Together with the technological reason that helps the Chinese mining enterprises make much progress, the regulation of the importing policy has also made great effect on the prosperity of the domestic mining machinery industry. It’s said that the government is devoted to taking measures to develop the mechanical import and export industry. The “Introduction-Absorption-Innovation” path will be the most important way for China to realize the fast development of the science and technology.

One of the most significant tasks for domestic manufacturers of mining equipment is to research and develop the large scale underground exploitation, to improve the large strip mine equipment and to realize the domestic production of the exploiting, lifting and beneficiation equipment. The Chinese government will positively adjust the importing policy related to the mining machinery and these useful regulations will directly and indirectly restraint the import of the mining machines.
